1. Scope of processing of personal data
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and therefore process your personal data only in accordance with applicable legal regulations. We process personal data of our users only as far as this is necessary for the provision of a functional website as well as our content and services. Processing of personal data of our users regularly only takes place after prior consent of the user. An exception applies in those cases where obtaining prior consent is not possible for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal provisions.
2. Legal basis for the processing of personal data
Where we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis.
For the processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures.
Where processing of personal data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR serves as the legal basis.
Where the processing of personal data is necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR serves as the legal basis.
Where processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by our company or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests, fundamental rights or freedoms of the data subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing.
3. Data erasure and storage duration
Personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage may also take place if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws or other provisions to which we are subject. Blocking or deletion of data will also take place when a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for conclusion of a contract or fulfillment of a contract.
We delete your personal data as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected, unless their – temporary – further processing is necessary for:
Compliance with legal retention obligations, which may arise, for example, from the Commercial Code (HGB) and the Fiscal Code (AO). The periods prescribed therein can be up to ten years.
Preservation of evidence within the framework of legal limitation periods. Pursuant to §§ 195 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB), these limitation periods can be up to 30 years, with the regular limitation period being 3 years.

You have the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.
3. Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to obtain from us restriction of processing where one of the following applies:

4. Right to erasure
a) Obligation to erase
You have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning you without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies:
The personal data concerning you are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;

b) Information to third parties
If we have made the personal data concerning you public and are obliged, according to Art. 17 para. 1 GDPR, to erase them, we shall take reasonable steps, including technical measures, taking into account available technology and implementation costs, to inform controllers which are processing the personal data that you have requested the erasure by such controllers of any links to, or copy or replication of, those personal data.
c) Exceptions
The right to erasure does not apply to the extent that processing is necessary
- for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information;
- for compliance with a legal obligation which requires processing by Union or Member State law to which we are subject or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;
- for reasons of public interest in the area of public health according to Art. 9 para. 2 lit. h and i as well as Art. 9 para. 3 GDPR;

5. Right to notification
If you have exercised your right to rectify, erase or restrict the processing against the controller, the controller is obliged to notify all recipients to whom the personal data concerning you have been disclosed, of this rectification or erasure of the data or restriction of the processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort.
You have the right to be informed about these recipients.
6. Right to data portability
You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to the controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided, where
the processing is based on consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR or Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, and the processing is carried out by automated means.
In exercising this right, you also have the right to have the personal data concerning you transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible. This shall not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
The right to data portability shall not apply to processing necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
7. Right to object
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, including profiling based on those provisions.
The controller shall no longer process the personal data concerning you unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Where personal data concerning you are processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing.
If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data concerning you will no longer be processed for such purposes.
You have the right to exercise your right to object to profiling related to direct marketing by automated means using technical specifications, notwithstanding Directive 2002/58/EC.
8. Right to withdraw consent under data protection law
You have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
9. Automated individual decision-making, including profiling
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
This does not apply if the decision
- is necessary for entering into, or performance of, a contract between you and the data controller,
- is authorized by Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject and which also lays down suitable measures to safeguard your rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, or
- is based on your explicit consent.
However, these decisions may not be based on special categories of personal data referred to in Article 9(1) GDPR, unless Article 9(2)(a) or (g) GDPR applies and suitable measures to safeguard your rights and freedoms and legitimate interests are in place.
In the cases referred to in (1) and (3), the controller shall implement suitable measures to safeguard your rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, at least the right to obtain human intervention on the part of the controller, to express your point of view and to contest the decision.
10. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR.
The competent supervisory authority for us is:

In particular, we encrypt our data for transmission to ensure that your data is not read by unauthorized persons during transmission. We use a modern and reliable internet security standard for this purpose. For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
